A plague has enveloped the world.
Reaching the coldest peaks to the scorching deserts.
It has corrupted, brought its tendrils up noses taking hold of each slice of the mind.
The plague is inescapable, it forces conformity and change
It has brought ruin to small tight-knit towns and sprawling metropolis
It kills the weak, and empties the soul of the strong
There is no cure
but there will be an end whether through fire and brimstone
or the slow death
The plague will end
Even if we die with it, the plague will end
Nothing lasts forever
It is time to be reborn – to remember life before the plague
